About the Marathon
The 14th International Jerusalem Winner Marathon will take place on Friday, 04 April 2025.
The Marathon will include the flowing races: marathon (42.2 km), half-marathon (21.1 km), 10 km race, 5 km race, Family Race (1.7 km), and Community Race (800 m).
The marathon routes pass through fascinating historical sites that shed light on 3,000 years of history in Jerusalem – the capital of Israel. The Jerusalem Winner Marathon is accessible to persons with a disability.

Information for Residents
The 14th International Jerusalem Winner Marathon will take place on Friday, 04.04.25, between 06:00-14:00, and will pass through many of the city’s fascinating sites. The residents of Jerusalem are invited to participate, cheer on the runners and take part in the marathon events.
Traffic arrangements
From Thursday, 03.04.25, starting at 23:00, up until the end of the event on Friday, 04.04.25, Ben Zvi Boulevard will be closed to vehicles.
On the day of the marathon the following streets will be closed to vehicles from 05:30:
Rupin Boulevard, the Hebrew University campus, Netanel Lorch, Rabin Boulevard, Haim Hazaz Boulevard, Tchernichovsky, HaPalmach, Gaza, HaNasi, Keren Hayesod, King George, Yafo street, Tzahal Square, HaTzanhanim, Haim Bar-Lev Boulevard, George Adam Smith, Lehi, Martin Buber, Binyamin Mazar, Churchill, Kariv, Jaffa Gate, the Armenian Patriarchate, Zion Gate, Hativat Yerushalaim, HaMelech David, Jabotinsky, Chopin, Dubnov, Gretz, Emek Refaim, Derech HaRakevet, Derech Beit Lechem, David Remez, Derech Hevron, Yanovsky, Yehuda, Pierre Koenig, Elazar Hamodai, Kovshei Katamon, Yehoshua Yavin, Sacher Park.
Traffic disruptions are also expected in streets adjacent to the marathon routes.
Parking Arrangements
Vehicles parking along the marathon routes will not be permitted to leave until the event has ended and the streets have been opened.
Parking will not be permitted on either side of Yehuda street starting on Thursday, 20 Adar B’, 20.3.25 from 20:00 until the next day, when the marathon ends. The parking lots of HaLeom, the museums, and the Government Complex will only serve the marathon participants.
The Light Rail
The light rail will operate along two routes: Route 1 – from Hel HaAvir station to Givat HaTahmoshet station.
Route 2 – from the central bus station to Mount Herzl station.

Public Transportation
The following public transportation lines will connect Givat HaTahnoshet and the Central Bus Station: 66, 66A, 45, 25, that will pass through the city center and Mahane Yehuda market. There will be changes to several public transportation lines. For information: Egged Call Center *2800.
Education Institutions
Schools will operate as usual (as much as possible).
Information about the school day at each school will be provided to parents and pupils by school management and kindergarten teachers.
Parents and pupils are advised to follow the information that will be published about changes to traffic arrangements as well as alternative routes.
Shuttles
Shuttles free of charge (round trip) will operate between 5:30-13:30.
- Pick-up in front of the eastern grandstand at Teddy Stadium, in front of Mount Herzl, and from the Shaare Zedek Medical Center parking lots.
- The drop-off in the Sacher Park area, along Burg Street (near HaLeom Parking).

North- Uzi Narkis Boulevard, Road 9, Golda Meir Boulevard, Eshkol Boulevard.
Center – entrance to the city, Herzl Boulevard, Begin south/North Boulevard, Bar Ilan/ Yirmiyahu route
South – Derech Dov Yosef, Golomb route, Ein Kerem route
